This Is Our Father’s World
“This is my Father’s world. Oh let me ne’er forget that though the wrong seems oft so strong, God is the ruler yet” – Maltbie D. Babcock, v. 3 of This Is My Father’s World
I am on vacation and will not post a blog this week, but I am very aware of the importance of the election for the direction takes for the future and I am praying that God’s kingdom come and His will be done among us.
Whatever the outcome, as we vote and as we watch the returns, may we all remember Who created us and Who is the ruler over all. He is also our salvation–not a particular president or a particular party. However, I pray that we choose a president who will lead us back toward our Maker, rather than one that brings such destruction that the state of the nation finally brings us to our knees and drives us back to our foundations.
Even as we make our choice, the Lord reigns and He will triumph. In that we can rejoice.
Blessings to each of you and to the USA.
Be sure to vote! If you are not familiar with the platform of the two parties and would like to better understand how they stand on social issues, you can learn check out their positions here.
